COMMUNITY SERVICE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

SPOKANE KIWANIS CHARITIES

The Kiwanis Club of Downtown Spokane and Spokane Kiwanis Charities is proud to offer Community Service Scholarships of $1500. The scholarships are awarded to individuals who best epitomize the Kiwanis Mission changing the world, one child and one community at a time.

Additionally, we award scholarships from the Bedri Saad Foundation for students attending the Spokane Community Colleges for $1500 each.

Eligibility Requirements:

• An applicant must be either a graduate or GED holder from a Spokane County High School.
• An applicant must demonstrate a dedication to changing the world one child and one community at a time through a history of school and community service.

Scholarship Award Requirements:

• The scholarships will be paid directly to the institution of attendance. Verification of attendance must be provided prior to release of funds.
• Download and print Permission to Release Form:
• Recipients must attend at least one lunch meeting with the Kiwanis Club of Downtown Spokane.
• Submit two letters of recommendation.
• Submit a copy of their high school or college transcript.
• Applications and all supporting documents must be submitted by March 31, 2026.
• Applications can be mailed or submitted online.
